Kishangarh , one of the biggest marble market where different types of marble and granite are brought, processed and sold. Today the town will get its airport. The airport will enable an air connectivity to devotees visiting the Sufi shrine at Ajmer, Pushkar lake. and Brahma Temple in Pushkar which is half an hour drive from Kishangarh.
Raje’s focus on aviation has led to air connectivity to Jaisalmer on October 4, and to Bikaner on September 26, after Kota got connected in August.
Kishangarh airport will have a carrying capacity of 150 passengers with six check-in counters. It will be connected through a four-lane road to National Highway 8.
Rajasthan government is subsidizing intrastate travel and Supreme Airlines is the main agency providing the air service. If sustained, the air connectivity would transform the state which has the largest area in the country.
